Sorry about the downtime!
	Hello everyone, you may have noticed that Zetahelp wasn't available for most of the weekend and earlier this week as well. This was because there was a major server crash - where both hard drives (where one is supposed to 'stand-in' if the other fails) happened to fail at the same time! This meant our host (Valcato Hosting) had to begin the painstaking and time consuming process of retriving the data (booting from Linux) to a temporary server before placing us all (over 300 users) onto the new server. To give you an idea of how long it took - it took 18 hours just to confirm the list of files that needed to be copied over to the temporary server. Thankfully Zetahelp is now back online (since yesterday evening) and I've been making sure all aspects of the site are backup and running - for instance the Forums were down earlier as not all the user-data for the mySQL database could be retrieved. Thank you all for your patience. If you spot any dead areas or have any comments, please let me know via the Forums or using the Contact Form. p/s: Forgot to mention - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KERTH!!

Happy New Year for 2007!
	Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you've all enjoyed the celebrations so far, no matter what you were doing - sleeping, watching the celebrations, jostling through the crowd, or hanging out with friends and family. Anyway, have a wonderful 2007 and make the most of it! p/s: The Zeta Top Sites script has just been upgraded to the latest version. Unfortunately I've somehow magically made some of the statistics disappear, so its almost a reset in a sense, but the reviews are (thankfully) still there! Some new fan sites (yey!) have registered to join the Top Sites list, including A Writer's Dream by goolgi and Zetastic by Compaq_xp_. I'm very much looking forward to watching these sites develop! p/s2: Its been a long-standing rumour that Zetapets v3 could be released on January 1st 2007, but so far there hasn't been any official news. Hopefully some more details will be released soon.

This is a quick update to inform everyone that we have updated our Guestbook yet again to combat the automated spammers and also created a new poll (yes, above! on the Main page) as we want to find out more about what you'd like from Zetahelp! Contact Form and Recent Events
	Hope you are all having a great summer! Many thanks to users who have emailed in with comments and questions via the Contact Form. I've tried to answer as many as possible in the shortest time. However, recently I've found that AOL appear to be blocking quite a few emails, giving a 554 error about a certain url. I have tried to work round this several times to no avail, believing that it could be due to the ZH domain. Today - I have found that it may be due to the ZP domain being 'blacklisted' for some reason, and as I quite often include a reference link, this apparently causes emails to be bounced back and not delivered. Therefore, if you haven't had a reply to your question and are using AOL in particular, I apologise in advance. Please feel free to write again, although I would recommend using a different email address. In other news, ZH recently hosted its first ever Skypecast! There were around 5 participants in total, although we had a few 'strangers' who did not know about Zetapets listening infor a while. Skypecasts have been launched by Skype to allow conferences of up to 100 people without necessarily being 'friends/buddies' beforehand. We will be hosting another one in the near future and would very much hope to see more users there!
